Our training programmes aim to establish and strengthen the mechanisms of cooperation between humans and horses in their work together. Three École Blondeau Certificates recognise the different stages of learning, with the third level corresponding to training in the Blondeau Method.

Whether you are an equestrian professional, an amateur rider or a leisure rider, your horse must first receive a sound education before learning the specific skills required for its future career. It must develop the essential foundations for working with humans and become familiar with everyday activities: accepting routine care, loading and unloading from a horsebox, and entering starting stalls. It must also learn to move at all three paces in response to human requests.

All our training programmes are structured around this principle of cooperation between horse and human at work.
In October 2016, the École Blondeau initiated a research programme in collaboration with INRAE (the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment) and the Normandy Region. Led by research director Jocelyne Porcher, the programme, known as CHEVALEDUC, focuses on developing innovative and effective approaches to the education and training of young horses. Its aim is to improve the safety of equestrian professionals while taking into account the physical and mental health of horses in their working activities.

The École Blondeau is a training organisation certified under the QUALIOPI and QUALICERT quality certification schemes.
