Introduction : All our courses aim to create a good relationship between man and the horse when they work together. In the course "Blondeau Method" you will start by watching the work with horses entrusted to us for educating and re-educating. You will be guided through all the steps of the Blondeau method so that you can work independently.
Aim : To acquire and use the principles of the Blondeau method to educate young horses.
A course for breeders, riders, training riders, jockeys and drivers
Training content :
Theory modules :
The theory that you will be taught will cover subjects of equestrian culture, the study of the horse, how it moves and ethology.
These subjects will enable you to understand the principles of the Blondeau method.
Practical modules :
Handling a young horse in the box and teaching it to listen
Carry out upward and downward transitions from the ground to favour the hand/mouth contact
Teach a young horse to go willingly into and out of a trailer
Work with a team to teach a young horse to use the starting gates
Getting a young horse used to working with long reins
Saddle a young horse for the first time
Mounting the young horse for the first time
Carry out the first ridden movements at walk and trot using the voice
Carry out the first ridden canter with a willing young horse ensuring he listens
Coping with small obstacles to ensure the co-operation of the young horse
Level required :
A 2-day assessment test on your knowledge of equitation on the subjects of care and ground work
FFE Galop 5 or experience

3 days compulsory continuous training annually for updating on scientific advances : 315 €
5 days are required for those using the Blondeau method who were trained before March 2017, and who have not had any revision course since.
