Learning the skills of ground work
Introduction : All our courses aim to create a good relationship between man and the horse when they work together. In the course "Teaching young horses from the ground" you will start by watching the work with horses who have been entrusted to us for educating and re-educating. You will be taught to be able to work from the ground independently.
Aim : To acquire and use the principles of the Blondeau method to teach young horses while working from the ground.

Training content :
Theory modules :
The theory that you will be taught will cover subjects of equestrian culture, the study of the horse, how it moves and ethology.
These subjects will enable you to understand the principles of the Blondeau method.
Practical modules :
Handling a young horse in the box to teach it to listen
Teaching a young horse to go into and out of a trailer
Carry out upward and downward transitions from the ground using the voice
Saddle a young horse for the first time
From the ground, teach a young horse to cope with small obstacles
Lungeing a young horse
Getting a young horse used to working with long reins
Working with a team to teach a young horse to use the starting gates
Level required :
FFE Galop 5 or experience
A one-day assessment test on your knowledge of equitation on the subject of care and ground work.
