Training together, from breaking-in to show jumping or eventing courses

The Blondeau method: the same spirit from breaking-in to competition.

Introduction:
The Blondeau method, a dual professional training for both rider and horse, draws on its own coherence to bring out the best in each, so as to build a relationship of trust in their work together. This course is designed for experienced riders who wish to learn how to school young horses, from breaking-in through to their first outings in show jumping and/or eventing competition.
The principle is to train the rider at the same time as the young horse: what one gains is borne out in the other's progress, and the competition course reveals the quality of all the work carried out beforehand.
A qualifying, non-degree course. It offers a specialisation pathway for riders at a level above that required to enter the CS in the education and schooling of young equines.

Course objectives:
By the end of the course, the rider is able to school a young horse from breaking-in through to its first courses in the cycle classique, in the cycle libre, in show jumping and/or eventing (French young-horse competition cycles), following the Blondeau method. The course rests on one principle: the horse is a partner that understands, remembers and anticipates. The work consists in putting that intelligence at the service of learning, by creating the shared working conditions that lead the young horse to understand what is being asked and to engage alongside the rider.
